I had my implantable corrective lenses done in October, just prior to making a move to Costa Rica with my husband to run our Bed & Breakfast. Every time I have come to Gimbel Eye Centre, my experience has been exceptional. As someone who has worked in dental offices for years, I appreciate the excellent systems in place to get patients through the multiple stages of appointments and care of many different staff members. The patient education and interaction are excellent and far beyond what I have encountered in any other medical setting. Everything was very clearly explained in layman's terms and in a very non-intimidating way. 

My surgical procedures went very well and I would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff for their professionalism and expertise. I appreciated Dr Gimbel's quiet confidence and faith and am very thankful to be one of very many who have benefited from the talents with which has been blessed and to which he has dedicated himself for so 
many years. 

I called the clinic the afternoon following the surgery of my second eye in a bit of a panic because of a nasty brow ache that had set in. I tend to get headaches from the pressure changes with the winds in Calgary, but I was on my way out of town for the weekend and wanted to make sure everything was okay. The technician was on her way out the door when I called after hours, but stayed late with a smile until I was able to get there. She did the pressure tests and was able to reassure me that everything was fine (and I was just another victim of the Chinook winds). Congratulations to all of you on a job well done. I hope you have the satisfaction that comes from making such a profound difference in people's lives every day. 

If I had known what it was like to go from legally blind to having 20/15 vision, I probably would have begged or borrowed (but perhaps drawn the line at stolen) to have this procedure done years before now. It is heavenly to be free of contact lenses and glasses. Now, I can spend time on the beach without getting red, irritated eyes from the dust that forced me to wear my glasses. Surfing is a lot more enjoyable too – now that I know I will come up from the water still able to see! I am so grateful to live in the modern age with technology like this available and people skilled enough to use it.

The object was to find, establish and implement the best procedures and processes to exceed the customer's expectations and to maximize financial measures.
