What is Your Condition?

  • Nearsightedness

    Nearsightedness

Nearsightedness is how we refer to a vision condition called “myopia.” Individuals who are nearsighted often experience blurry vision when trying to see objects at a great distance, such as road signs, movie screens, and other far-away objects.

  • Farsightedness

    Farsightedness

Farsightedness is otherwise known as “hyperopia.” This very common condition is characterized by the eye’s inability to focus clearly on objects at a close range, which can pose quite a challenge while reading and engaging in other activities that require clear, up-close vision.

  • Astigmatism

    Astigmatism

Astigmatism is the term used to describe a condition in which the curvature of the eye’s cornea or natural lens is irregular in shape, causing blurry vision at a range of distances. This condition is very common, and is often diagnosed in patients who have nearsightedness or farsightedness.

  • Presbyopia

    Presbyopia

Presbyopia is an age-related vision condition that typically develops after one has reached their early to mid-40s. Typically caused by the eye’s gradual loss of its ability to quickly accommodate focus between far and near distances, presbyopia results in significantly blurry vision when observing objects at a close range.
